Key Performance Indicators & Data
As part of the Developing Local Provision Project, we have to provide Birmingham City Council with data regarding specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). A KPI is a quantifiable measure of performance over time for a specific objective.
Here are the 4 Key Performance Indicators for this project:
1. Reducing absence for SEND Support and EHCP pupils across all key stages
This includes children with persistent absences.
2. Reduce the suspension (Px and FTE) of pupils with SEND Support and EHCP across all key stages
3. Improve percentage of pupils on SEND Support and with EHCPs achieving expected levels in Maths at KS2 – Year 6
The third KPI is focused predominately on Year 6 children but as it is a two-year project we are also working with the current Year 5 cohort. We want to see an increase in the number of children that have Special Education Needs passing the statutory Maths SATs at the end of Key Stage Two.
4. Improve percentages of pupils on SEND Support and with EHCPs achieving expected levels in Reading at KS1 – Year 2
The last KPI is to see an increase in the number of children that have Special Education Needs/Disability reaching the expected standard in reading at the end of Year 2.
