A games-based intervention aimed at those pupils who are struggling. Sum Dog can be played online or via an app. Children complete a diagnostic test and are then assigned differentiated games based on their results. The game motivates the children through exciting 3D avatars, virtual coin rewards and instant feedback.
Includes a read aloud function, so children are not held back by their reading levels. Sum Dog recommend 10 minutes daily or 30 munites per week.
Most suitable for improving fluency, interventions or homework. There is also a multiple choice ‘end of term’ assessment linked to White Rose.
